Welcome to BuniX.org - Business Unix Solutions. The main purpose of this site is to show how Unix (also Linux) can be used in a business environment. With an emphasize on security and ease of maintenance. Of course the use of the information is not limited to a business environment only, but can also be used for home or educational purpose.
This site is geared towards the free unices (see Unix / Linux). I have made this choice because most of my experience is based on these. At the moment I am using OpenBSD on my servers, NetBSD on my desktops, Mac OS X on my laptop and Gentoo on my gaming machine. I have also used Debian GNU/Linux and FreeBSD.
